REMINDER: Notify Roe of LAS Links Plan

Campus is now locked and alarmed at 7pm due to being a COVID testing site. Please feel free to stat as needed. 

UPDATED RECESS AND LUNCH INFO


During your classes AM recess please escort your students to their spot on the blacktop. Once you have lined your class up and feel that they are ready to go - please dismiss them to recess and remind them to walk to their playing area. 

The sandbox area is currently closed to the 5th and 6th graders due to poor behavior. If a student would like to swing they will need to seek out a supervisor for permission. Please do not announce this to your class as most students have adjusted. There are still students who are being appropriate on the swings and ask each day to swing - those students will be granted permission by a supervisor. 

Changes for 3rd and 4th grade lunch dismissal. The 4th grade classes will be lined up outside of their classrooms in the quad. 3rd grade classes will be lined up along the ramp leading up to the office. That way we have less issues with transition between the playground and lunch dismissal. 

Attendance Procedures


  • Daily attendance needs to be entered by 9am daily. (We need this information in a timely manner for safety and contract tracing needs as they arise)


  • Weekly attendance reports are due every Friday by 3:30pm. If you are absent and have a sub we will work with you and/or your sub to have the report signed in a timely manner.



I know that taking attendance is a forever task, but it helps keep us in the know when parents are looking for kids or we have to contract trace and send kids home. We will send gentle reminders as needed, but think about systems in your routine that may help you remember such as a timer, a student job, or a note to yourself. (I could never remember, I had a student who's job it was to remind me every day and at the end of the week she got paid)

Here is what we have so far:

October 23rd - Campus Clean Up Day 8-9:30
October 25th- Wear you Cap and Gown to school (Staff) - and goodie bag pass out - If you do not have a gown, we will be trying to get a few OR you can order one - unfortunately we don't have time to order them with district funds. 
October 25-29 (Spirit Days - PTA will pass out info)
October 27th - Family Coding Night 4:30-5:30 (More info to come) - THIS IS VIRTUAL

TIGER STORE NEWS

Tiger store- Students shop every other week per your instructions and they will pick up prize when they go to library. The reminder will be on your calendar weekly that it is a shop week and the link will be in the description of the meeting.
